Towne Park is currently seeking a Guest Service Associate to join its dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service. The Guest Service Associate will provide attentive, efficient, and friendly service to guests, ensuring their parking and luggage-handling experiences are smooth and enjoyable. The position involves greeting guests warmly, assisting with vehicle parking and retrieval safely, and providing helpful information about local amenities and services. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license for the state applied to work or commutable distance
- one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of customer service principles
- ability to read and write English
- ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- understanding of 24 hour time and applicable rates
- physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- ability to perform parallel parking
- must follow established procedures and guidelines as directed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree
- one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applied to work or within a commutable distance
- knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- ability to read and write standard English
- ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide by 10’s and 100’s including using American money
- ability to understand 24 hour and military time
- ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable
- ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
- acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using guest last names
- uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
- practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- assists guests with bell services and luggage storage
- opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
- delivers messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- shuttles guests to approved locations
- explains parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
- issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks prior to issuing keys
- completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
