As the very first point of contact for many visitors, Parking Attendants embody the spirit of hospitality that MGM Resorts is known for by delivering courteous and enthusiastic valet services. This role requires a proactive and friendly individual who can manage the logistics of vehicle parking with exceptional attention to safety and guest satisfaction. Parking Attendants are responsible for greeting guests warmly, offering assistance with luggage, managing the flow of vehicles to avoid congestion, and providing information about hotel amenities, events, and local attractions.

Job Requirements

  • One or more years of prior relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move luggage
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Must be punctual and reliable

Job Qualifications

  • Prior relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous under pressure
  • Basic knowledge of local attractions and hotel offerings
  • Capacity to handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues
  • Physical ability to assist with luggage and stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet all arriving guests at the valet entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services
  • Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guest’s vehicle for their departure
  • Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid
  • Report issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays at the valet entrance
  • Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion
  • Answer guest questions about hotel registration, restaurants, events, activities, and attractions
  • Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refer to the supervisor on duty
  • Report all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation
  • Assist bell persons with the movement of luggage as necessary
