Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Valid driver’s license for the state of application or within a commutable distance
One (1) month of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and write standard English
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with three-digit numbers
Ability to understand and apply 24-hour and military time systems
Ability to operate a vehicle safely and perform parallel parking
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and a friendly demeanor at all times
Physical ability to assist with luggage and continue duties efficiently throughout the shift

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of application or within a commutable distance
One (1) month of related experience and/or training
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
Read and write standard English
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Write simple correspondence
Present information in one-on-one and small group settings to guests, clients, and employees
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide three-digit numbers and perform operations using U.S. currency
Understand 24-hour and military time systems
Understand rates applicable to time passed
Operate a manual transmission (highly desirable)
Perform parallel parking

Job Duties

Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
Greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly demeanor and using guests’ last names
Use the salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
Practice proper phone etiquette
Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
Assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
Provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
Delivers messages, items, and/or guest amenities as requested
Shuttles guests to approved locations
Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
Issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
Maintains ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
Calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
