Job Description
Parking Management Company (PMC) is a leading provider of valet parking and related services, specializing in luxury hotels, resorts, and event venues. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism, PMC supports a wide range of hospitality clients by managing parking operations that enhance the overall guest experience. The company prides itself on its commitment to pay transparency, employee development, and fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment. PMC offers competitive hourly wages with tips, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth within the hospitality and parking management industries.
The role of a Hospitality Valet Attendant at PMC is much more than simply parking vehicles; it is a vital front-line position where the attendant serves as the first point of contact and farewell for guests at luxury hotels, resorts, and various special events. Valet attendants play a critical role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere by safely and efficiently parking and retrieving guest vehicles while providing outstanding customer service infused with energy, confidence, and attention to detail. This full-time or part-time non-exempt position provides the chance to earn competitive pay ranging from $13.00 to $20.00 per hour plus tips, which can vary based on market location and service quality.
This hands-on role demands a keen focus on safety, vehicle security, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Valet attendants must have strong communication skills, a polished appearance, and the stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions while standing or walking for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary. Team collaboration, professional handling of guest inquiries, and the ability to support a positive workplace culture are essential.
Valet attendants conduct vehicle damage inspections and document parking locations accurately to ensure protection against potential issues. Attention to safety protocols, including proper key handling and traffic flow management, ensures operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Employees maintain valet areas in a clean, organized, and presentable manner and demonstrate professionalism by arriving on time, in uniform, and properly groomed. The company places a strong emphasis on dependability, flexibility in scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays, and ongoing training through a comprehensive program to ensure continual development and compliance with standards.
PMC also offers a suite of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance upon eligibility, a 401K retirement plan, supplemental life and critical illness insurance, bonus opportunities, paid time off, and tuition assistance through Bellevue University. The company is recognized for being a military-friendly employer and promotes equal employment opportunities. Employment is at-will with a 120-day introductory period, and employees in this role are non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, qualifying for overtime pay. PMC is committed to maintaining a safe work environment, compliance with all relevant labor laws, and reasonable accommodations as needed.
In summary, the Hospitality Valet Attendant position at PMC provides an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused hospitality environment. Whether you are starting your career or looking to strengthen your customer service skills in luxury settings, this role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to make a positive impact on every guest's experience by providing courteous, efficient, and safe valet services.
