Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for applicable state or commutable distance
  • Minimum one month related experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work evening and overnight shifts
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with whole numbers and using American money
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • Understanding of rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Greet guests within five feet using appropriate salutations and guest last names
  • Use proper phone etiquette and post in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and assist guests with bell services and luggage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries
  • Provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks accurately
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags and damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect revenue from guests when needed
