Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Flexibility to work weekend second shifts
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to guests, clients, and colleagues
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Greet guests within five feet using professional and friendly manner and use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue when needed
