The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is pivotal in maintaining the company’s standard of excellent hospitality. This position primarily involves providing outstanding guest services by greeting guests warmly, assisting with luggage, and efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles. The associate will be expected to handle these tasks with professionalism, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for all guests. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the appropriate state or a commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American money
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility and main attractions in the area
  • Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks from guests prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
