Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license for the state or a commutable distance
- Minimum one month related experience or training
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Ability to present information effectively
- Basic arithmetic skills including money handling
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applying to work or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, coworkers, and clients
- Greet guests within five feet using professional and friendly demeanor and guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities of the facility, and main attractions in the area
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved places by the location
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks from guests before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Consistently complete location on all key tags
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
