The Guest Service Associate at Towne Park plays a crucial role in maintaining the company’s reputation for excellent hospitality. Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Understanding of American money units
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time
  • Understanding of applicable rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission

Job Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state where employed or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and employees
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide by 10s and 100s
  • Ability to understand and use units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities of the facility and main area attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved places
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from guests before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
