Job Description

Valencia Hotel Group is a distinguished collection of hotels designed specifically for today's passionate travelers seeking unique experiences. Renowned for blending modern design with classic character, each hotel under this group offers an inviting and exceptional environment that is both stylish and comfortable. The Group has earned accolades for its commitment to excellence and outstanding customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for from the moment they arrive.

Among the vibrant properties under the Valencia Hotel Group umbrella is the Lone Star Court Hotel, which embodies the same dedication to quality and hospitality. This hotel stands out for its unique charm and focus on delivering superior guest experiences through personalized attention and a keen understanding of guests' needs. The team at Lone Star Court is driven by passion, teamwork, and empowerment, guaranteeing that every guest interaction reflects the brand's core values and service standards.

The role of Valet Attendant at Lone Star Court Hotel is pivotal in creating the first impression for arriving guests. As a Valet Attendant, you will be stationed prominently at the hotel entrance, serving as the welcoming face for visitors and providing essential services such as vehicle parking, retrieval, and payment management. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, thrive in a dynamic work environment, and are committed to going above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.

The Valet Attendant is expected to combine operational efficiency with exceptional customer service. Duties include greeting guests warmly as they arrive, accurately handling parking tickets, maintaining an organized system for valet keys, and ensuring the parking lot and valet areas remain clean and orderly. In addition, this role involves assisting guests with luggage, acting as a knowledgeable guide to local amenities and attractions, and supporting other hotel staff as needed. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving any valet-related issues are essential to success in this role.

Safety is a top priority at Lone Star Court Hotel. Valet Attendants must adhere strictly to hotel safety guidelines and traffic laws, ensuring the protection of guest vehicles and property. Maintaining a clean driving record and demonstrating responsible driving behavior on hotel premises are fundamental requirements. Furthermore, the role demands excellent communication skills to effectively address guest concerns, relay important information, and collaborate efficiently with team members and management.

This position is classified as Non-Exempt and reports directly to the Front Office Manager. While physical stamina is necessary due to standing for long periods, running to vehicles, and occasionally assisting with the movement of luggage and supplies, the rewarding nature of the job makes it suitable for energetic, customer-oriented individuals who value teamwork and professional growth.

Join the award-winning team at Valencia Hotel Group and become part of a company culture where your talents are recognized and your efforts contribute directly to memorable guest experiences. Employees are encouraged to utilize Valencia Hotel Group’s Core Service Standards to consistently deliver exceptional service, participate in ongoing training, and engage in team development opportunities. This role offers a fulfilling career path with room for advancement within a supportive and dynamic hospitality environment.
