The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is integral to maintaining the high standard of hospitality the company is known for. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal services
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • Ability to present information effectively
  • Basic math skills
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or nearby commutable area
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence and present information effectively
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time and applicable rates
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information on facility amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks after handling vehicle keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags and damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue as needed
