The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is an opportunity to join this mission-driven team. This position entails providing attentive, friendly, and efficient hospitality services directly to guests. Duties encompass parking and retrieving vehicles safely and promptly, assisting guests with luggage, and delivering exceptional customer service from arrival to departure. The Guest Service Associate plays a key role in setting the tone for a positive guest experience by employing professional communication, using guests' names during interactions, and maintaining a courteous demeanor. The position includes responsibilities such as answering guest inquiries, offering directions, managing parking tickets, and ensuring smooth and accurate vehicle retrieval processes. Towne Park offers competitive compensation for this role, with an hourly base pay starting at $12.45 per hour plus tips, and a $4 shift differential for overnight shifts. The work schedule is flexible and spans Monday through Sunday, accommodating the dynamic nature of hospitality service demands. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions
  • Ability to present information effectively in small group settings
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including with American money
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of work or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English language
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and perform multiplication and division with 10’s and 100’s
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and main attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
