Job Description
Greystar is a premier, fully integrated global real estate platform specializing in property management, investment management, development, and construction services within the institutional-quality rental housing sector. Headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, Greystar manages and operates over $300 billion of real estate assets across more than 265 markets worldwide, with offices spanning North America, Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific region. As the largest operator of apartments in the United States, Greystar oversees the management of over one million apartment units and beds globally. The company's robust portfolio includes nearly $79 billion of assets under management, with substantial development and regulatory assets, underscoring its leadership and extensive footprint in the real estate industry. Founded in 1993 by Bob Faith, Greystar continues to deliver world-class service and exceptional resident experiences through its comprehensive real estate solutions.
The Valet Parking Attendant at Greystar plays a crucial role in enhancing resident and visitor experiences by providing safe, efficient, and courteous vehicle service at high-rise stabilized properties. Operating during the graveyard shift from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, this position requires attentiveness and professionalism in managing vehicle parking and retrieval duties at the property. The attendant is responsible for safely operating mechanical lift systems and vehicle elevators, maintaining stringent safety protocols, and immediately reporting any malfunctions to supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Key responsibilities include assessing and documenting vehicle conditions before and after parking, ensuring vehicle security by following established key storage procedures, and accurately tracking vehicle locations within the parking facility. The role demands excellent communication skills to greet residents and visitors warmly, provide accurate information about valet services, and assist with directions as needed. Compliance with traffic and motor vehicle safety regulations is paramount to maintaining safety and service quality.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $23.00, varying by factors such as experience, skillset, and location, with additional eligibility for bonus programs tied to individual and company performance. Greystar supports its employees through comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, alongside generous paid time off which encompasses vacation, personal days, sick leave, holidays, as well as a birthday day off after one year of service. Additional perks include company-matched 401(k) plans, paid parental leave, fertility benefit reimbursements, employee assistance programs, and opportunities for onsite housing discounts at Greystar-managed communities. Long-term employees benefit from paid sabbaticals and various insurance and legal plans, reflecting Greystar’s commitment to employee well-being and satisfaction.
This role is ideal for entry-level candidates who possess a valid driver’s license and a desire to contribute positively to the residential community's safety and service standards. Greystar embraces diversity and inclusion, actively considering applicants with arrest and conviction records while ensuring a secure, respectful hiring process free from fraudulent communications. Joining Greystar means becoming part of a globally recognized real estate leader focused on integrity, excellence, and unparalleled resident service, offering a meaningful career pathway within a dynamic and supportive work environment.
