Parking Management Company (PMC) is a nationally recognized leader specializing in hospitality-focused parking services. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, PMC has established a robust presence across the United States by providing comprehensive parking management solutions tailored to the hospitality industry. Its services include valet and self-parking management, shuttle services, event parking, and porter/bell services that cater to a diverse range of markets such as hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, and event venues. PMC prides itself on integrating seamlessly with its partners' hospitality operations, offering a guest-first approach that enhances the overall visitor experience. With a strong reputation for delivering high-touch, professional parking services, PMC stands out by emphasizing safety, efficiency, and an exceptional standard of customer service.
The role of Hospitality Valet Attendant within PMC is vital to upholding the company’s commitment to exceptional guest service and operational excellence. Valet Attendants are often the first and last point of contact for guests, creating meaningful impressions through courteous, safe, and efficient vehicle handling along with professional interaction. Working at luxury hotels, resorts, and events, the valet attendant contributes directly to the hospitality experience by maintaining a polished and professional demeanor while managing guest vehicles with care and attention to detail. This position offers both full-time and part-time schedules and is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), making employees eligible for overtime pay when applicable.
In terms of compensation, valet attendants at PMC can expect hourly wages averaging between $13.00 and $20.00, inclusive of tips that vary based on customer interactions and service performance, subject to regional rates. PMC supports a culture of pay transparency and equity, ensuring fair wage practices in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package following eligibility which includes health benefits (medical, vision, dental), 401K plans, supplemental insurance, bonus opportunities, paid time off, training programs, and tuition assistance among other perks.
As a valet attendant, the main responsibility is to provide engaging and hospitable service while safely managing the parking and retrieval of guest vehicles. The role demands a high level of physical stamina, professionalism, and the ability to respond flexibly to a fast-paced environment. This position supports PMC’s operational goals by following safety protocols, maintaining parking lot organization, and collaborating effectively with team members to ensure smooth service delivery. Candidates must demonstrate a customer service-oriented mindset, reliable attendance, and compliance with company policies including uniform standards and punctuality.
Safety is paramount in this role. Valet attendants must perform vehicle inspections to record any damage, adhere strictly to key handling procedures, and follow all relevant safety guidelines to protect both guests and equipment. The role requires adaptability to varied weather conditions and the ability to stay active throughout shifts which can include nights, weekends, and holidays. Valet attendants also handle customer inquiries professionally, resolve challenges tactfully, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. There are additional responsibilities such as attending training sessions, participating in staff meetings, and remaining responsive to evolving business needs.
PMC is committed to equal employment opportunities and provides reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The company values diversity and inclusiveness with hiring practices that do not discriminate based on race, color, gender, age, veteran status, disability, or other protected statuses. This commitment reinforces PMC’s culture of respect and fairness, aligning with its mission to provide world-class parking services embedded within the hospitality framework.
Overall, the Hospitality Valet Attendant position at PMC offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service, vehicle care, and contributing positively to memorable guest experiences. This role is ideal for proactive, dependable candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy interacting with people while maintaining safety and professionalism in their work.
