The role of Valet Driver at Towne Park is essential in maintaining the high standards of hospitality the company is known for. This position involves parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and efficiently, assisting with guest luggage, and ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure. Valet Drivers must exhibit a friendly and professional demeanor, greet guests warmly, and provide helpful information about local attractions, amenities, and services. This role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings and evenings, with some shifts offering bonus pay. Towne Park offers a competitive starting pay of $9 to $11 per hour plus daily cash tips ranging from $5 to $10 per hour for valet drivers. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
Minimum of one month related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience
Ability to read and write in English
Must be able to understand and execute simple instructions and correspondence
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, and climbing
Willingness to work flexible shift schedules including AM and PM shifts
Ability to operate a vehicle safely and perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
Ability to read and write standard English language
Ability to understand and present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems and applicable rates
Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
Use guest last names during interactions
Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
Shuttle guests to approved places
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
Consistently complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt from all vehicles taken into the valet system
Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
