Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk and mobility to move easily around entire property for entire shift
- must be physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 80 lbs
- ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance during job duties
- ability to run up and down stairs
- ability to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
- ability to work in areas with dust, second hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds and air quality
- flexibility with schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- must be at least 18 years of age and have a driving record that meets company requirements
- valid state driver's license required
- must be able to drive and operate all types of passenger vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions safely
- must possess great interpersonal skills
- good oral and written communication skills, fluent and literate in English
- must be a self starter and motivator capable of working without constant direction
Job Duties
- Greets customer at Valet Porte-Cochere and assists in transporting luggage to and from vehicle to guest rooms
- parks and retrieves customer's passenger vehicles while creating a seamless guest service experience
- initiates and engages in conversations with guests about services across the Council Bluffs properties including restaurants, entertainment, promotions and events
- accurately completes luggage tags and valet tickets including vehicle damage inspection
- answers valet phone and responds to luggage room calls and expedited car retrieval service from Casino Operations for 7 Stars and Diamond players
- practices lateral service by helping guests and co-workers beyond normal job description including driving shuttles
- complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy
- presents oneself as a credit to the company and encourages others to do the same
- performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
