Job Description

Caesars Entertainment is a renowned leader in the hospitality and gaming industry, known for its commitment to providing extraordinary experiences to guests across its multiple properties. The company operates a diverse portfolio including Harrah's Council Bluffs, Horseshoe Council Bluffs, the Mid-America Center, and the Hilton Garden Inn, all of which serve the Council Bluffs metro area. These properties offer a wide range of amenities from top-tier gaming experiences at two casinos to comfortable accommodations at two hotels along with expansive convention, meeting, and entertainment spaces suitable for various events. Caesars Entertainment prides itself on fostering a workplace culture deeply rooted in its Mission, Vision, and Values, which emphasize creating spectacular worlds that immerse, inspire, and connect guests, and delivering exemplary service through a team-oriented approach.

As part of the team at Caesars Entertainment, the Valet Attendant plays a crucial role in realizing the company’s mission to "Create the Extraordinary" through high-quality guest service. This position is primarily responsible for greeting guests, handling the parking and retrieval of their passenger vehicles safely and efficiently, and providing additional services such as assisting with luggage when needed. Working at the Valet Porte-Cochere, attendants are the first and last points of contact for guests arriving by car, and their demeanor and attention to detail significantly influence the overall guest experience.

The Valet Attendant role involves more than just parking cars; it encompasses engaging with guests to inform them about various services offered across the Council Bluffs properties including dining options, entertainment events, and promotions. Accuracy and care are paramount, especially when issuing luggage tags and valet tickets, conducting vehicle inspections for prior damage, and responding promptly to requests from guests and casino operations, particularly for VIP customers like 7 Stars and Diamond players.

In addition to the core duties, Valet Attendants may occasionally be required to perform lateral service tasks such as driving shuttles or helping co-workers and guests in other areas to maintain seamless service during busy periods. This flexibility is vital in contributing to the department’s goals and the wider business strategy.

Caesars Entertainment values employees who uphold company expectations including adherence to policies, procedures, and industry regulations while exemplifying professionalism and pride in their work. Team members are encouraged to present themselves as credit to the company and foster a positive, collaborative workplace environment. This position requires physical stamina, excellent interpersonal skills, a valid state driver’s license, and the ability to work under minimal supervision at times.

Joining Caesars Entertainment means becoming part of a family-style service culture that prioritizes warmth, connection, and respect among team members and guests alike. The company is committed to equal employment opportunities and provides reasonable accommodations to ensure an inclusive workplace. Safety and compliance measures, including background checks and pre-employment drug testing for roles operating motor vehicles, are in place to maintain a secure environment for all employees and guests.

This role is well-suited for individuals who are motivated self-starters passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences while being active and mobile throughout their shifts. With a focus on teamwork and personalized service, the Valet Attendant position not only offers the opportunity to develop valuable customer service and operational skills but also contributes to the vibrant hospitality scene in the Council Bluffs community.
