Job Description
Atlantis Casino Resort Spa stands as a premier luxury destination located in Reno, Nevada. Renowned for its exceptional gaming, exquisite dining, and indulgent spa services, Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is more than just a place to visit; it is where unforgettable moments are crafted for every guest. As a family-owned establishment, the resort places high importance on building meaningful relationships with guests and the local community, ensuring every interaction is personalized, warm, and memorable. This dedication to excellence permeates through every aspect of the resort's operations, from its sophisticated atmosphere to its tailored hospitality services.
With a keen focus on driven service and superior guest experiences, Atlantis Casino Resort Spa offers an inviting and sophisticated environment where employees thrive while making a difference in visitors' lives. The resort is currently seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join their team as Valet Attendants. This full-time role is integral to providing top-tier customer service, as the valet position often creates the first and lasting impression guests have of the resort. Valet attendants are responsible for greeting guests with genuine warmth, assisting with luggage, and ensuring vehicles are parked and retrieved safely and efficiently. This role demands quick responsiveness, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service and safety.
The Valet Attendant will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, where the ability to multitask and maintain professionalism under pressure is essential. Duties extend beyond parking and retrieving vehicles; attendants also assist in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the valet area, help with taxis and guest directions, and support the bell desk when business needs fluctuate. The physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, walking, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, and maintaining sharp vision and depth perception to handle various vehicle types safely, including manual transmission cars.
Qualified candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess an Alcohol Awareness Card. A clean driving record with a DMV printout covering the past three years is mandatory, along with the ability to drive all class 'C' vehicles and operate manual shift vehicles comfortably. Furthermore, the resort mandates adherence to strict grooming standards, including no visible tattoos, piercings, or unnatural hair colors, to uphold the professional image of the Atlantis brand.
Atlantis Casino Resort Spa fosters a working culture that values team recognition and appreciation. Committed to employee growth, the resort offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401K retirement savings plan with discretionary matching, paid vacation and holiday pay, education tuition reimbursement, career development workshops, free daily meals, and opportunities for internal advancement. By investing in its team, Atlantis ensures a supportive environment where employees are recognized for their contributions and have clear pathways for career progression.
Joining Atlantis Casino Resort Spa means becoming part of a team dedicated to creating extraordinary guest experiences that elevate the spirit of hospitality. It is a chance to work in a vibrant environment where every day presents new opportunities to connect with guests and contribute to an established leader in luxury gaming and hospitality. For candidates passionate about customer service and eager to grow within a leading resort, the Valet Attendant position provides a rewarding career pathway marked by professional development and team camaraderie.
