We are currently hiring for full-time Valet Attendant positions based at Arkansas Children’s Hospital located at 1 Children’s Way in Little Rock, AR. This role is integral to providing a welcoming and seamless arrival experience for patients and visitors by ensuring safe, efficient, and courteous valet services. The position maintains hospital standards by acting as the first point of contact, embodying professionalism and attentive customer service with each interaction. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Applications are accepted online only and are reviewed on a rolling basis until the positions are filled.
As a Valet Attendant at Crothall Healthcare, you will be responsible for the safe handling and transport of patient and guest vehicles, ensuring every vehicle is delivered promptly and securely. You must demonstrate competence in operating various types of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions, ranging from sub-compact cars to SUVs and vans. Additionally, the role requires providing physical assistance to patients and visitors by safely transferring them to and from their vehicles and wheelchairs while adhering to proper body mechanics to ensure comfort and safety.
Key responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in valet and parking areas, responding quickly and effectively to emergency situations such as code calls or disasters, and managing the proper disinfection and return of wheelchairs to designated holding areas. This position plays a pivotal role in the hospital environment, ensuring that guests feel cared for and valued from the moment they arrive.

- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in surrounding areas

Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive and operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles including sub-compact, compact, full-size, SUV, vans, and golf carts
- Prior driving experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work full-time schedule Monday to Friday
- Ability to coordinate patient transfers safely
- Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
Job Duties
- Ensure safe, timely, and accurate delivery of the patient’s/guest’s vehicle to their destination
- Drive and operate vehicles including manual and automatic transmissions
- Assist patients and guests to safely enter and exit vehicles and wheelchairs using proper body mechanics
- Transport patients and medical equipment comfortably and securely
- Collect, disinfect, and return wheelchairs to designated holding areas
- Respond promptly to emergency activities such as code calls or disasters
- Maintain cleanliness of valet and parking lot grounds
- Perform other duties as assigned
