Job Description

East Coast Valet (ECV) is a well-established valet parking service company based in Lantana, Florida, with a strong presence in Southern Florida since 1990. Known for delivering exceptional valet services to a variety of prestigious locations, ECV has built a reputation on professionalism, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This company specifically provides valet services for HCA St. Lucie Hospital in the Port St Lucie area and places a high emphasis on maintaining a positive and supportive company culture. Whether you are seeking full-time or part-time employment, ECV offers flexible opportunities and values the dedication and commitment of its employees. The company operates Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., providing a structured work schedule for those looking to balance work with personal commitments.

The role of a Valet Parking Attendant at ECV is much more than just parking vehicles. It involves being the visible representative of the company and the client it serves. Valet attendants are the first point of contact for customers and are expected to deliver outstanding customer service by greeting patrons warmly, handling vehicles with care, and ensuring a smooth and efficient parking process. The job requires running back and forth between stations to assist the next arriving guest promptly, maintaining a high standard of professionalism at all times. This position offers a competitive pay rate starting at $14 per hour plus tips, with attendants typically earning between $19 and $20 per hour including tips. ECV ensures employees receive their wages weekly through check, direct deposit, or pay card, along with daily tips.

ECV’s commitment to its team goes beyond just competitive pay. The company fosters a positive work environment with numerous benefits and incentive programs designed to promote employee engagement and satisfaction. Benefits include paid sick time, 401(k) plans, scholarship opportunities, and, for full-time employees, access to medical and dental insurance after 90 days, as well as additional vacation time. The company is dedicated to promoting from within, encouraging career growth and development internally. Employees benefit from a close-knit work culture where management knows each employee personally, creating a supportive atmosphere where individual contributions are valued. Social events like company trips to sporting events and picnics enhance employee morale and foster a sense of community.

The physical demands of the job are significant and require stamina, as attendants stand for most of their shifts, run multiple times a day, and frequently enter and exit customers’ vehicles. Attendants also assist customers by lifting wheelchairs, strollers, baggage, and other items, necessitating good physical health and mobility. The position is outdoors and requires working in varied weather conditions, so resilience and a positive attitude are essential. Furthermore, all employees undergo a rigorous background check to ensure security and safety compliance.

This role calls for individuals who are over 18 years of age, have experience driving standard transmission vehicles or are willing to be trained, possess their own transportation, and have a valid Class D driver’s license held for at least one year. Experience in customer service or related fields such as hospitality, retail, transportation, or security is preferred, as these skills contribute to fulfilling the primary duties effectively. Valet attendants must maintain a neat appearance, a friendly attitude, and be prepared to work weekends and holidays when necessary. There is a 30-day trial period for new hires, allowing both the employee and management to assess suitability for the role. Training spans four shifts, during which attendants receive a higher pay rate but no tips. ECV proudly supports veterans and active-duty military personnel and encourages their applications. Joining East Coast Valet means becoming part of a reputable, growing company that values its employees and offers opportunities for personal and professional growth.
