Job Description
Towne Park is a prominent hospitality services company known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences in various environments such as hospitals, airports, hotels, and entertainment venues. The company's mission centers around creating smiles by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service to millions of patients, visitors, and guests they serve each year. Towne Park prides itself on fostering a workplace environment where employees can make a tangible impact every day by easing anxieties of patients and their families, creating memorable experiences for visitors, and supporting their colleagues with compassion and professionalism. This culture of care and excellence defines the company's operational ethos and drives its dedication to superior customer service.
The opportunity to join Towne Park as a Guest Service Associate offers an individual a rewarding career, more than just a job. This role emphasizes personalized hospitality, where you are not only parking and retrieving vehicles but also playing a crucial role in the guest experience from arrival to departure. The company values employees' contributions and acknowledges that every interaction—be it assisting a guest with luggage, offering directions, or providing information about local amenities—directly impacts the impression guests take away. This position is hourly, offering a base pay of $13 plus tips, reflecting a commitment to competitive and fair compensation based on the candidate's skills, experience, and location.
Working a Monday to Friday schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, the Guest Service Associate role is structured for consistency and balance. This schedule ensures the associate serves guests during key operational hours, contributing to smooth day-to-day parking and guest services. Employees are also eligible to participate in Towne Park’s benefit programs, including accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and a 401k retirement savings plan. While eligibility is dependent on job classification and length of employment, these offerings underscore Towne Park's investment in employee well-being and financial security.
The core responsibilities involve safe and courteous vehicle parking and retrieval, assisting guests with luggage, and providing hospitality services such as welcoming guests, handling inquiries, and delivering guest amenities promptly. The role demands a professional demeanor, friendly communication using guest names, and strict adherence to procedures for managing keys and claim checks. Accuracy in documenting vehicle information and revenue collection is essential, reinforcing the position's impact on operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
The physical demands of this role reflect its active nature, requiring associates to be on their feet, sometimes outdoors in various weather conditions, for extended periods. Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and performing tasks such as climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, and crouching are common, highlighting the job’s physicality. Employees are expected to have a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle safely, with manual transmission skills and parallel parking capability considered highly desirable. Towne Park ensures reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, promoting inclusivity within its workforce.
Overall, the Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is a valued team member who plays a vital role in enhancing guest experiences through skilled, attentive service and operational precision, all within a supportive and rewarding workplace environment.
