We are seeking a responsible and courteous Valet Attendant for the 2nd shift who will play a vital role in shaping the first and last impressions of our guests. As a Valet Attendant, you will be the friendly face that greets guests upon arrival, assisting them with their vehicle and luggage while providing exemplary customer service. This position requires someone with a strong sense of pride and attention to detail, ensuring each guest’s vehicle is handled with care, parked safely, and returned promptly in pristine condition. Your presence will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience, reflecting the professionalism and standards that our hotel upholds. Beyond parking duties, you will also serve as a knowledgeable source of local information, assisting guests with directions, recommendations, and hotel-related inquiries. Valet attendants act as safety and security agents by following established protocols to protect guests’ vehicles and personal belongings, meticulously securing cars and managing keys according to hotel policy. The role demands physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions, as well as an excellent driving record that includes the ability to operate vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions and different sizes, including vans and limousines. Job Requirements
- minimum one year of prior hotel or related experience preferred
- excellent driving record verified by motor vehicle administration report
- ability to drive all vehicle speed shifts including automatic and manual
- capacity to operate vehicles of all sizes including vans and limousines
- effective communication skills
- physical ability to work long hours in various weather conditions
- ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force
- ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach
- willingness to work variable temperatures and noise levels
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum one year of experience in hotel or related customer service role
- excellent driving record verified by motor vehicle administration report
- ability to operate vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work under various weather conditions and long hours
Job Duties
- greet guests warmly and assist with luggage
- park and retrieve guests' vehicles with care and precision
