The Guest Service Associate position at Towne Park is a dynamic and customer-focused role designed for individuals who excel in hospitality and enjoy engaging with guests in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The Guest Service Associate is responsible not only for operational tasks such as vehicle parking and retrieval but also for delivering a warm welcome and assisting guests with inquiries related to the facility and surrounding attractions. Job Requirements

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable distance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
  • Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and perform tasks such as stooping, kneeling, and climbing stairs
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to follow operational instructions and departmental guidelines
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work assigned shifts including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 6pm-2am
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screening as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple English instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division involving American money
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • Knowledge of applicable parking rates
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Skill in parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Greet guests professionally within five feet using their last names
  • Use appropriate salutations and welcome guests to the facility
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Station in designated areas when not performing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles carefully and efficiently
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage handling
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Provide directions, taxi, reservation, and general information assistance
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved destinations
  • Explain parking rates and vehicle retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks after vehicle inspection
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately
  • Calculate and collect parking fees when required
  • Ensure vehicle safety and customer satisfaction throughout the service process
