Job Description

The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is designed for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and providing outstanding customer service. This position is pivotal in representing the company’s commitment to creating memorable and positive experiences from the moment guests arrive until they depart. The associate is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and efficiently, assisting guests with their luggage, and offering a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor throughout their interaction. The work schedule involves shifts from Monday to Friday, with hours from 10am-2pm and 6pm-10pm, ensuring flexibility and work-life balance. This role requires keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the physical ability to handle various demands including lifting and standing for extended periods. The job offers an hourly base pay of $17 plus tips, underscoring the company’s commitment to competitive and fair compensation. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • one month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
  • knowledge of customer and personal services principles and processes
  • ability to read and write standard English
  • ability to understand simple instructions and correspondence
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to present information effectively in small group and one-on-one
  • ability to perform basic math including operations with American money
  • understanding of 24 hour and military time
  • ability to understand time-based rates
  • ability to operate manual transmission is a plus
  • ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or a commutable distance
  • one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • ability to read and write standard English
  • ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
  • ability to perform these operations using American money
  • ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with professional and friendly demeanor
  • uses guest last names during interactions
  • uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
  • practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
  • delivers messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • shuttles guests to approved places at the location
  • explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
  • completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
