The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is a dynamic and customer-focused position critical to enhancing the guest experience through attentive and friendly service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for the state applied to or commutable distance
  • One month of related experience or training or equivalent combination
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
  • Ability to perform basic math operations
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Must have open availability including weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand time rates
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities of the facility, and main attractions in the area
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
