Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license for the state applied to or commutable distance
- One month of related experience or training or equivalent combination
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
- Ability to perform basic math operations
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Must have open availability including weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand time rates
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities of the facility, and main attractions in the area
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
