Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state or commutable distance
- Minimum one month related experience or training or equivalent
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to read write and comprehend simple English
- Basic math skills with money handling
- Understanding of time systems and rate calculations
- Ability to operate manual transmission highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and respond to simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Effective presentation skills for one-on-one and small group communication
- Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division using American money
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with guests co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly approach
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Park and retrieve vehicles carefully and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage handling including storage and delivery
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions taxis reservations and information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect them prior to key issuance
- Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately including key tags guest folios and damage surveys
- Calculate and collect parking fees when needed
