Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must hold valid driver’s license for state applied to work or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend instructions and write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in personal and group interactions
  • Basic math skills with American money units
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Understanding of applicable parking rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license for applicable state
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using professional and friendly manner
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles safely and promptly
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Provide guests with directions, taxi, reservation assistance and facility information
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks
  • Complete ticket information and document vehicle parking details
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue when necessary
