Job Description

Towne Park is a dedicated hospitality services company committed to creating smiles by delivering exceptional guest experiences. With a focus on serving millions of patients, visitors, and guests, Towne Park emphasizes compassionate service that not only meets guest needs but also eases anxieties and creates memorable moments. Their dedication goes beyond simple parking or valet services; it extends to fostering a positive environment where employees can make a meaningful impact daily. Towne Park’s team members take pride in brightening the day of every guest and client, making each interaction count and ensuring a welcoming, friendly, and professional atmosphere.

The position available is the role of Guest Service Associate/Valet, a critical part of the Towne Park hospitality team. This role carries the responsibility of providing exceptional hospitality services attentively, efficiently, and warmly. The Guest Service Associate/Valet is tasked with parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and promptly, assisting guests with luggage whenever applicable, and delivering outstanding customer service throughout the guest’s arrival and departure journey. This role is vital in ensuring guests’ first and last impressions are positive and carry the essence of Towne Park’s mission to create smiles.

Specifically, the job is titled Hospital Valet Driver at Fort Sanders Medical Center, offering an hourly rate starting at $13 plus daily cash tips estimated between $6 to $9. Importantly, no prior experience is required for this role, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to enter the hospitality and service industry. Towne Park also offers a $500 sign-on bonus, payable in two increments to both full-time and part-time employees—$250 after 60 days and another $250 after 6 months of employment.

The work schedule is flexible and includes weekdays, weekends, and all shift times, accommodating different availability and lifestyle needs of employees. Benefits offered to eligible employees include enrollment in accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and participation in Towne Park’s 401k retirement savings plan. Eligibility for benefits depends on factors like job classification, length of employment, and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary staff unfortunately are not eligible for these benefits.

The Guest Service Associate must maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor, greeting guests warmly and using formal salutations including addressing guests by their last names. Key responsibilities include driving slowly and cautiously while parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting with bell services and luggage, opening doors, helping with directions and transportation needs, and providing detailed information about the facility and local attractions. They also manage the parking process by explaining rates and procedures, issuing claim checks, and collecting revenue when necessary, ensuring comprehensive documentation and vehicle safety throughout the valet service.

Physical demands of the job include the ability to walk, stand for long periods, handle luggage, climb stairs, and exert force ranging from 20 to 100 pounds for lifting tasks. The working environment primarily involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions, requiring resilience and adaptability. Additionally, some travel, approximately 5%, may be necessary.

The role offers an excellent entry point into hospitality services, combining customer service, safety, and operational responsibilities within a reputable organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities it serves.
