The role of Hospitality Valet Attendant at PMC focuses on luxury hotels, resorts, and event venues, where the valet team sets the tone for guests’ arrivals and departures by providing exceptional customer service. This position offers flexible scheduling options of full-time or part-time employment and is classified as non-exempt. Valets can expect competitive compensation ranging from $13.00 to $20.00+ per hour, which combines a base pay rate with tip income that reflects service performance and the quality of guest interactions.
This role is much more than parking cars; valets are ambassadors of hospitality who create first and lasting impressions through their professional demeanor, energy, and attention to detail. The Valet Attendant is responsible for safely and efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles while ensuring the security of all parked cars. The position requires active physical engagement, as attendants are on their feet extensively and often work outdoors in various weather conditions. Providing courteous, confident communication and quick, precise vehicle handling are essential to enhancing guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Valet attendants must conduct thorough vehicle inspections to document pre-existing damage and parking locations, strictly adhere to safety protocols, and maintain compliance with company standards and attendance policies. The role also involves ensuring the valet areas remain clean and organized, managing traffic flow, and supporting teammates to foster a positive and professional workplace environment. This position requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable motor vehicle record, with candidates passing a background check.
With opportunities to develop customer service skills alongside competitive pay and tips, this role suits individuals who thrive on active, guest-facing positions and take pride in representing the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and hospitality. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance upon eligibility, 401(k) options, supplemental insurance, paid time off, tuition assistance, internal leadership development programs, and bonus opportunities. PMC champions pay transparency and upholds equal opportunity employment, committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce where every employee is valued and supported.
