The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is a vital position responsible for delivering outstanding hospitality services to guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient parking experience. This role requires the Associate to park and retrieve vehicles safely and promptly while providing attentive assistance with luggage during guest arrivals and departures when applicable. Compensation includes a base hourly wage of $11.50 for the night shift plus tips, offering a competitive pay structure. Seasonal and temporary employees are not eligible for these benefits.

The Guest Service Associate serves as the face of Towne Park by greeting guests warmly within five feet of proximity, using guests’ last names, and practicing excellent phone and in-person etiquette. They assist guests with directions, taxi arrangements, reservations, and provide detailed information about local amenities and attractions. Essential job functions include maintaining accurate records of vehicle tickets, managing claim checks, calculating and collecting parking fees, and ensuring all vehicles are parked with safety as a priority. Additionally, Associates support bell services and luggage delivery where applicable, and shuttle guests to approved locations if necessary.

The role demands physical activity such as standing or walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, stooping, and occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds. Environmental conditions include working outdoors for long durations, sometimes exposed to extreme weather conditions. Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities as well as local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved places
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks from guests prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
