The role of Hospitality Valet Attendant at PMC is a vital part of this guest-driven service experience. As the first and final point of contact for guests arriving at luxury hotels, resorts, and event venues, Valet Attendants at PMC are expected to embody professionalism, courtesy, and a guest-centric approach at all times. This position is available on both full-time and part-time schedules and is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, with compensation consisting of an hourly wage plus tips, which can range from an average of $13.00 to $20.00 or more per hour depending on market and service performance.

Valet Attendants at PMC are entrusted with the safe and efficient parking and retrieval of guest vehicles while delivering exceptional customer service characterized by energy, confidence, and meticulous attention to detail. The role demands quick physical movement, clear communication skills, and an impeccable personal presentation, all critical in shaping a positive and memorable guest experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • customer service experience preferred
  • customer service attitude and a willing, helpful demeanor is mandatory
  • valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations within a three-year period
  • ability to pass and maintain clean background check
  • ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • physical stamina to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • ability to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform and grooming standards

Job Duties

  • Conduct vehicle damage inspections and document parking locations on claim tickets
  • safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles while adhering to proper key handling procedures
  • follow all safety protocols to maintain personal and vehicle security
  • maintain compliance with attendance and timekeeping policies including clocking in/out and accurately reporting tips
  • keep valet areas clean, organized and presentable
  • handle challenging situations with professionalism, resolve problems promptly and ensure high-quality service
  • maintain regular attendance, adhere to company policies and uphold PMC standards for safe and efficient parking operations
