Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state or commutable area
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Open availability for work schedule
- One month related experience or equivalent education/experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to safely operate vehicles
- Ability to understand and follow procedural guidelines
- Ability to present professional demeanor consistently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or a commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
- Strong interpersonal communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using money units
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates for time
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
- Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using a professional and friendly demeanor
- Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assists guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Provides guests with information on outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
- Delivers messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttles guests to approved locations
- Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issues claim checks and collects keys prior to vehicle retrieval
- Completes and maintains all ticket and key tag information accurately
- Calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
