Job Description
Beechmont Country Club, a Troon Managed Property situated in Beachwood, OH, is a prestigious private golf and country club that offers an exemplary hospitality experience for its members and guests. As part of the Troon family, the world’s largest professional club management company, the club exemplifies dedication to exceptional service, maintaining a premier environment where tradition meets modern comfort. Troon operates over 900 locations across more than 45 states and 27 countries, specializing in golf, hospitality, and residential management services. Their mission centers on energetic, kind, and prosperous values, providing a platform for employees to thrive in vibrant, dynamic settings.
The Valet Attendant role at Beechmont Country Club is a compelling opportunity for candidates who are enthusiastic about hospitality and enjoy engaging with guests in an upscale environment. This position is offered on a full-time and part-time basis, including seasonal and year-round opportunities. Starting pay begins at $16 per hour or higher, based on qualifications and prior experience, with the potential for occasional tips. The role demands individuals with a keen sense of urgency and attentiveness to detail, as well as a commitment to ensuring every member and guest feels welcomed and cared for as they enter and leave the club.
This position is not only about parking vehicles; it embodies a critical touchpoint of the overall member and guest experience. The valet attendant serves as the face of the club upon arrival and departure, requiring a friendly, professional demeanor and seamless service delivery. Responsibilities include greeting guests promptly, assisting with vehicle entry and exit, managing the parking and retrieval process precisely, and safeguarding both the vehicles and their contents while on property. The role also involves maintaining an organized and tidy work area, adhering to safety protocols for vehicle operation, and helping with golf bag handling.
The work environment is predominantly outdoors and involves moderate noise levels. Physical demands include standing, walking, running, and manual dexterity with frequent communication. Candidates must maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid driver's license. The schedule typically includes both weekdays and weekends, with shifts that vary from morning to mid-afternoon or late afternoon to evening, requiring flexibility and teamwork.
Full-time associates enjoy a comprehensive benefits package through Troon that includes medical, dental, vision, supplemental plans, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan. Additional perks include holiday bonuses, shift meals, uniforms, golf privileges, and educational scholarships. Troon is committed to fostering professional growth within its properties, providing opportunities for advancement and skill development in a supportive hospitality culture. This role is perfect for those eager to build a rewarding career in hospitality, gain experience in a world-class setting, and work for a globally respected organization that values its people and culture.
