Known for its robust presence in multiple markets across the United States, LAZ Parking prides itself on fostering a supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, growth, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. As a company that manages parking facilities for a variety of clients including commercial, residential, and event venues, LAZ Parking stands out in the parking service industry by blending professionalism with thoughtful customer interaction.
The company is currently seeking Valet Attendants in Pasadena, CA, for part-time positions requiring availability on weekends and late nights. This role is pivotal in upholding the company's reputation, as the valet attendant is the first and last point of contact with the customers. The hourly wage combined with potential cash tips offers competitive compensation, along with the added benefit of Pay Active, allowing employees to access up to half of their earned wages on demand. Additional benefits include a 401(k) plan with employer match and transit and commuter benefits in select markets.
At LAZ Parking, the Valet Attendant role is much more than parking vehicles. It is about creating a memorable first impression and ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for. Valet attendants are responsible for greeting guests with warmth and professionalism, managing the flow of traffic efficiently, and providing assistance with luggage as needed. The ability to maintain a friendly demeanor, coupled with strong communication skills and customer service orientation, is crucial. Each interaction is an opportunity to reinforce the brand’s positive image and to provide an exceptional customer experience.
In this position, employees are expected to park and retrieve vehicles with care, efficiency, and timeliness, ensuring the safety of the clients’ vehicles and belongings. The role requires a self-reliant attitude with the capability to work independently or as part of a team under supervision. Physical stamina and readiness to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, wind, rain, or snow, are necessary for success in this job. The LAZ Valet Attendant must be physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds and able to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
LAZ Parking is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity and inclusion, committed to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, genetics, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics. The company also participates in E-Verify to ensure a legal workforce.
Joining LAZ Parking as a Valet Attendant means becoming part of a dynamic team focused on delivering excellent customer service, earning competitive pay, and enjoying meaningful benefits that support employee well-being and financial security. This role offers a rewarding avenue for individuals who enjoy engaging with people, thrive in active environments, and take pride in representing a respected brand.
