The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is an integral position focused on enhancing the customer experience by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient hospitality services. Expected to perform a variety of duties, the associate assists guests by parking and retrieving vehicles safely and promptly, delivering luggage, and offering directions and information about local amenities. Employees in this position are expected to demonstrate a professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills, greeting guests warmly and using their last names to personalize interactions. The role operates under an on-call, as-needed PRN schedule, primarily Monday through Friday between early morning and early evening hours, with compensation starting at $17.50 per hour.
This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and the physical capability to handle tasks such as lifting, walking, and working outdoors for extended periods, including in varying weather conditions. Guest Service Associates also manage claim check issuance, revenue collection, and vehicle safety procedures including cautious driving and parking practices. Training is provided to ensure thorough knowledge of Towne Park’s parking systems and customer service standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend instructions and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively in small group settings
- Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time
- Knowledge of applicable rates
- Ability to operate a manual transmission (highly desirable)
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Valid driver’s license for work state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
- Ability to present information effectively
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems

Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Greet guests promptly within five feet and use last names during interactions
- Use appropriate salutation and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles driving cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide directions, taxi assistance, reservation support, and information about local amenities
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities
- Shuttle guests to approved local destinations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain ticket information including key tags and damage surveys
- Calculate and collect parking revenue as needed
