Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and group settings
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time
- Understanding of applicable rates related to time passed
- Manual transmission operation and parallel parking skills preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other employees
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and perform multiplication and division with 10’s and 100’s using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use proper Towne Park phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage and delivery as needed
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks from guests prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately including key tags, guest folios, vehicle locations, damage surveys, and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect parking revenue when needed
