The Valet Attendant position based in Fayetteville, NC, is a full-time opportunity contingent upon contract award, specifically designed to support VA medical facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient vehicle parking and shuttle transportation services, directly impacting patient access, safety, and their overall experience with the facility. Candidates for this role are responsible for greeting Veterans and visitors with respect, explaining services clearly, and managing vehicle intake and retrieval with utmost care and security. The job requires the operation of shuttle carts to transport Veterans between parking areas and facility entrances, adhering strictly to designated routes and safety protocols. The role demands exceptional situational awareness, handling peak traffic times smoothly, and collaborating in vehicle inspections and documentation. Additionally, the Valet Attendant supports non-clinical transportation needs by delivering and retrieving wheelchairs upon request.

Safety and customer service standards are paramount in this position. The employee must continuously monitor the parking booth and ensure operational readiness during business hours. Physical endurance is necessary since the job involves standing, walking for extended periods, and sometimes sitting while operating vehicles.
