The primary responsibilities involve coordinating traffic flow efficiently and safely, managing valet services including the collection and security of guest keys, operating and retrieving vehicles with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic laws and facility policies, and providing assistance to guests with loading and unloading. The role also demands attention to financial transactions such as receiving payments, reconciling revenue, and managing tip pools.

Valets at ABM must be adept at communicating clearly and effectively with guests to ensure smooth service delivery and to address basic inquiries. They are also tasked with monitoring and managing parking areas to prevent illegal parking, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of their work area, and operating in various outdoor climates for extended periods.
