The Valet Attendant role at Prairie Band Casino & Resort is a vital position responsible for enhancing the guest experience from the moment they arrive. This role demands exceptional customer service skills as Valet Attendants are the first point of contact for many guests, tasked with safely parking and retrieving customers’ vehicles in a courteous and efficient manner. Beyond driving, attendants handle key control, vehicle inspections, and maintaining safety and order in the parking areas. The position requires the ability to interact positively with guests and team members, handle difficult situations with resilience and professionalism, and work harmoniously in a team setting. Valet Attendants also support operational flow by assisting with traffic and accommodating guests with luggage or heavy items.

This role requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting throughout shifts, often under varying weather conditions. The casino provides a $750 hiring bonus and $50 in gas gift cards during onboarding as incentives to join the team. This is a full-time position with a strong support system for staff, emphasizing occupational health and safety, regular training, and opportunities to grow within the resort. Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must qualify for company insurance coverage
- No major violations, (DUI, reckless driving, driving on suspended), no combination of 3 or more at fault accidents and/or chargeable moving violations during the last 3 years
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in driving both automatic and standard type transmission vehicles
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- Must be able to work independently and function as a member of a team
- A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
Job Duties
- Provides superior customer service, positively interacts with customers and team members
- has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and has the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers
- Safely park and retrieve vehicle, follow key handling procedures, and follow all safety guidelines
- Completes vehicle inspections including checking for damage and recording vehicle details on claim ticket
- Keep valet area clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items
- Assists with traffic flow and ensure the safety of the parking area
- Answers the telephone and takes messages as appropriate, adheres to proper telephone etiquette
- Maintains key control within department
- Knowledgeable of all hotel amenities
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
- Functions as Bell Person as needed or requested
- Other duties as assigned
