The Valet Parking Attendant position at Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel is critical in ensuring that guests are greeted warmly from the moment they arrive and are given a seamless and hospitable experience throughout their stay. This role involves the transportation and parking of vehicles in designated areas with a strong emphasis on guest safety and satisfaction. The valet attendant is responsible not only for driving and parking vehicles but also for engaging guests in a friendly, professional manner, assisting with luggage, and orienting guests to the property and their rooms. Candidates for this position should possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, demonstrate a positive attitude towards management and the company, and be capable of working various shifts, including weekends and holidays. The job also involves physical activities, such as lifting up to 25 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods. The ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions and work in diverse weather conditions is essential. Furthermore, candidates must be able to successfully navigate hotel policies including gaming regulations and key control policies, ensuring compliance at all times.

Job Duties
- Greet casino hotel guests upon arrival and departure
- assist with loading and unloading luggage and opening vehicle doors as needed
- answer guests’ questions regarding local attractions, hotel amenities, and other available services
- collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
- record all pertinent information on claim checks regarding guests’ vehicles and daily transactions
- operate and park vehicles safely and responsibly in predetermined areas within the property
- ensure the safety and security of guests, guest vehicles and guest belongings
