Job Description

Cherokee Town & Country Club, located in the prestigious Buckhead area of Atlanta, Georgia, is a distinguished private club chartered in 1956. It is celebrated as one of America's premier private clubs, nestled on the historic Grant Estate on West Paces Ferry Road and complemented by a beautiful Country Club near the Chattahoochee River in Sandy Springs. This esteemed establishment is known for its unparalleled standards of excellence in facilities, dining, and member services, earning numerous honors and awards over the decades. Cherokee Town & Country Club prides itself on fostering a positive, member-focused culture centered on a "What can I do? How can I help?" attitude, embodying what they call the "Cherokee Standard." This philosophy drives their commitment to providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a supportive and high-quality work environment for employees.

The club offers a variety of benefits to its staff, including competitive wages, employee recognition, and appreciation programs, alongside perks that enhance the employee experience. Cherokee Town & Country Club places significant value on hard-working, dedicated individuals who contribute to the vibrant culture and uphold the club's prestigious reputation. The club is also committed to compliance and quality assurance, participating in Everify and maintaining a drug-free workplace.

The role of Part-Time Valet Attendant at Cherokee Town & Country Club is integral to delivering a superior first impression to members and guests arriving at the Town Club. Valet Attendants are responsible for warmly greeting guests, assisting them with entering and exiting vehicles, and ensuring vehicles are parked safely and efficiently. Given the prominence of the establishment, professionalism in both appearance and attitude is paramount. Valet Attendants are expected to carry themselves with respect and courtesy at all times, as they represent the very first point of contact for guests and members.

This role requires a person who is not only physically capable of running back and forth to park cars quickly but also someone who shares the club’s dedication to service excellence and safety. Responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and polished appearance of the club's entrance areas, ensuring that all surfaces and brass fittings are immaculate, and keeping the premises free of litter. Attention to detail and a sense of pride in the overall atmosphere are crucial.

As a Part-Time Valet Attendant at Cherokee, employees earn a competitive wage starting at $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. The club enhances this compensation package with free meals during shifts, free parking, a work uniform, opportunities to play golf on most Mondays, as well as employee recognition events and a discount on MARTA transportation. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy outdoor work and want to be part of a prestigious institution where their efforts contribute directly to member satisfaction and the club’s storied tradition of excellence. Joining Cherokee Town & Country Club means becoming part of a community that values high standards, integrity, and a warm, welcoming environment for members and staff alike.
