The role of a Housekeeping & Laundry Substitute at The Ritz-Carlton New York Central Park is positioned as a full-time, non-management role offering competitive compensation between $27.00 and $39.89 per hour. This position is key to ensuring the seamless delivery of laundry and clothing services to guests, maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and appearance in valet and dry cleaning operations. The substitute role requires excellent guest service skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule, responding promptly to guest requests, front desk inquiries, and other service needs. Responsibilities include greeting guests upon arrival, assisting with the safe unloading of items, handling valet tickets, coordinating repairs and pick-up services, and adhering to company policies and standards. The position demands physical activities such as reaching, bending, lifting objects up to 10 pounds, and standing or walking for extended periods.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of work experience in housekeeping or related field
  • no supervisory experience required
  • ability to communicate clearly
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 10 pounds
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • adherence to company policies and standards

Job Duties
