The Valet Runner position at PATG-LV is a critical role entrusted with the responsibility of providing valet parking services in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner. This position requires an individual who offers exceptional customer service with a professional and friendly demeanor. Valet Runners serve as the first line of interaction with guests, ensuring that every experience begins and ends positively. The role includes parking guest vehicles, maintaining traffic flow, handling keys with care and accuracy, responding to guest inquiries, and assisting with luggage and other needs. Beyond parking vehicles, the Valet Runner may also provide shuttle service to guests and assist in keeping the assigned areas clean and orderly.
This position demands flexibility in working hours, covering various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays at multiple locations. The company expects Valet Runners to be physically capable of performing duties that require standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 pounds, and managing outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Candidates should be comfortable multitasking in a busy, high-volume environment and demonstrate attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Job Duties
- Maintain a positive attitude and smile when interacting with guests
- park guest vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot following all traffic laws
- keep vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic moving to avoid backups
- collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests for proper return
- resolve customer requests, questions, and complaints with integrity and poise
- provide information on parking procedures and policies
- open doors and assist with lifting, carrying, and/or removing items from vehicles as requested
- actively look for ways to assist guests
- provide courtesy shuttle service as needed
- maintain accurate event information to respond to guest inquiries
- attend training classes as directed by supervisor
- keep the assigned area clean
- perform any other duties as assigned
