The valet parking attendant role at Omni William Penn Hotel is a vital position in maintaining this exceptional level of guest service. The attendant's main responsibility is to provide guests with a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure experience by efficiently driving, parking, and retrieving vehicles. This position requires attentiveness to safety and speed to ensure prompt vehicle service without compromising quality. Excellent customer service skills are crucial because attendants consistently interact directly with guests, assisting with luggage, providing directions, and answering guest inquiries about hotel amenities and services.
Valet attendants must manage vehicle and key inventory accurately and complete all necessary documentation related to parking and garage services. The role demands physical stamina, including standing and walking for long periods, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly. Having a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential prerequisites, as the job involves operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles responsibly and safely. Flexibility in work hours is required, encompassing morning, evening, and overnight shifts to accommodate guest needs at all times.
Beyond operational duties, the valet parking attendant represents the hotel’s image through maintaining a clean and professional uniform and by being knowledgeable about all hotel services and promotional programs. Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Background check of driving record
- Ability to operate automatic and manual vehicles safely
- Flexible availability for am, pm, and overnight shifts
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 70 pounds continuously

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Experience as a valet driver preferred

Job Duties
- Drive guest vehicles to and from parking areas promptly and safely
- Park and retrieve vehicles courteously and efficiently
- Conduct key and vehicle inventory
- Complete necessary parking garage forms and claim tickets
- Assist guests with luggage and provide directions and hotel information
- Clean the front drive area
- Maintain a smart and clean appearance of uniforms
