Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for state of employment or commutable distance
- Minimum one month related experience or training
- Ability to read write and comprehend English
- Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division
- Ability to understand and use time systems and parking rates
- Ability to safely operate vehicles including manual transmission if possible
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and prolonged standing
- Flexible availability including early morning and late evening shifts
- Customer service mindset and effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applied to or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s using American money units
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with guests coworkers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using professional and friendly manner
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions taxis reservations and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets meeting rooms amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag guest folio vehicle location damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
