Thunder Valley Casino Resort is a premier casino and entertainment destination known for its commitment to excellence and providing guests with a top-tier experience. As a leader in the resort and gaming industry, Thunder Valley Casino Resort prides itself on its elite service standards and AAA Four Diamond recognition, which symbolize its dedication to superior quality and guest satisfaction. The resort offers a blend of exhilarating gaming options, fine dining, entertainment, and luxurious amenities, creating an engaging atmosphere for guests from diverse backgrounds. Employees at Thunder Valley Casino Resort benefit from a dynamic and supportive work environment where growth, teamwork, and high standards of service are highly valued. The resort continuously strives to create an inclusive culture that empowers its team members to contribute meaningfully to its success and to the satisfaction of its guests.
The Valet/Transportation Assistant Manager role at Thunder Valley Casino Resort is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the Valet and Transportation Departments. This managerial role ensures that all aspects of valet services and transportation logistics meet the resort's rigorous standards and the expectations of its guests. The Assistant Manager will directly supervise a team of hourly employees, including Valet and Transportation Supervisors, Valets, Valet Leads, Bus Drivers, and Limo Drivers. Responsibilities encompass scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, record-keeping, and vehicle dispatching. The individual in this position must demonstrate a strong commitment to the resort's "ELITE" service mission and AAA Four Diamond service standards, showcasing excellence in customer engagement and operational leadership.
This role requires someone who is proactive in driving improvements within the Valet and Transportation Departments. The Assistant Manager will continuously coach and motivate team members, recognize outstanding performance, and identify areas for service enhancement. A keen eye for detail is necessary to ensure that all company vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, emphasizing safety, cleanliness, and reliability. Additionally, the Assistant Manager is expected to contribute to the expansion and optimization of shuttle services by identifying new stop locations and improving service efficiency.
Key responsibilities also include participation in the hiring process, ensuring that the department is staffed with qualified candidates who align with the resort’s culture and service goals. Responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues related to valet and transportation services forms an essential part of the role. The Assistant Manager must maintain compliance with Department of Transportation regulations, including drug and alcohol test requirements, and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Working conditions for this position involve a mix of office-based responsibilities and hands-on operational tasks. The individual must be prepared to work outdoors, sometimes in challenging weather conditions, and within the casino environment where noise and smoke may be present. This full-time position requires physical stamina to stand and walk during shifts, operate equipment, and assist with valet operations as necessary.
Overall, the Valet/Transportation Assistant Manager at Thunder Valley Casino Resort plays a pivotal role in ensuring that guests receive exceptional transportation and valet services, which contribute significantly to their overall experience and satisfaction at the resort.
