The role available is for a member of the Valet Services team, a pivotal position within CARTI tasked with enhancing the overall patient and visitor experience from the moment of arrival. Valet team members are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by warmly greeting all patients, visitors, employees, and healthcare personnel. Their duties include directing visitors to the appropriate locations within the facility, assisting patients with mobility by providing wheelchairs or escorting them to their destinations, and ensuring safety and security in the parking areas. The Valet Service professional plays a crucial role in maintaining orderly parking traffic flow, assisting patients as they enter or exit vehicles, and helping with multiple customers simultaneously.
Given the healthcare setting, the role demands maturity, dependability, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information. Valet staff are expected to uphold a professional appearance by wearing assigned uniforms and maintaining their valet stations in neat, professional order. The position also involves physical demands such as standing for extended periods and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Safety is a primary concern, and employees must participate in required safety trainings and act promptly to report any security or safety issues.

Job Duties
- Cordially greets visitors and patients upon arrival
- Ascertains patients' and visitors' needs and directs them accordingly with respect for patient privacy
- Provides assistance to patients and visitors by obtaining wheelchairs or other services as needed
- Escorts or transports patients who need help to their destination within CARTI
- Assists patients entering or exiting vehicles
- Ability to multitask and tend to several customers at once
- Monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas/levels, and report any security or safety problems to manager
- Monitor commercial and transport vehicle traffic for loading/unloading patients to ensure proper parking and efficient traffic flow
- Effectively re-routes traffic to alternate parking levels or locations when the parking facility reaches maximum capacity
- Maintains personal hygiene and appearance to project a professional image
- Wears assigned uniforms at all times and keeps them neat, clean, and in good repair
- Maintains valet stations in a neat and professional manner
- Completes safety trainings as required
- Performs related duties as required
