The Valet role at The Parking Spot is crucial to the operational success of the company. Valets are responsible for delivering high-quality valet parking services and providing personal attention to guests and their vehicles. This is a full-time position with shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM, offering a pay rate of $17 per hour with regular bonus opportunities. Valets play an important role as the face of The Parking Spot, serving as the initial point of contact for guests and helping them with luggage and vehicle handling with professionalism and care. The position not only requires excellent driving skills, including the operation of manual transmission vehicles, but also demands attention to detail, a focus on safety, and a customer-oriented attitude.

Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license at all times
  • Ability to operate manual transmission
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and safety
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds with or without an accommodation
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Previous experience in valet or customer service preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Previous valet driver attendant and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license is required at all times
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission
  • Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public understand highway traffic signs and signals respond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and records in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds with or without an accommodation

Job Duties

  • Greet each customer in a friendly and professional manner offering to assist with their luggage
  • Accurately and promptly process valet tickets
  • Operate park and retrieve guests' vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform inventory of valet-parked vehicles and available spaces
  • Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
  • Report any damage to vehicles or property immediately
  • Assist with guest luggage as needed
  • May cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management
