As a key role within ABM’s comprehensive parking services, the Valet position provides professional, courteous, and compassionate guest services, playing an essential part in ensuring a positive first and lasting impression for clients and visitors. This role is particularly well-suited for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce with limited prior experience or education. Valets at ABM coordinate traffic flow to maintain efficiency and safety; communicate clearly and effectively with guests regarding valet procedures and directions; and handle guest keys securely. The role demands operating, parking, and retrieving vehicles safely in compliance with all traffic laws and facility policies, requiring both automatic and standard transmission driving skills.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring parking areas for illegal parking and swiftly addressing such incidents, assisting guests with loading and unloading their belongings, accurately managing financial transactions including receipt of payments and daily revenue reporting, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. Valets also engage in proactive management of traffic flow peaks and lot issues, identifying the need for extra support during extended wait times, and administering tipping pool logistics. The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
