Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required
- Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved exemption
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to assist seniors with mobility challenges
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work full-time
- Comfortable driving various vehicles including vans and buses
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required
Job Duties
- Assists residents and guests arriving and departing the community
- Parks and retrieves resident and visitor vehicles upon request
- Delivers packages, flowers, prescriptions, etc., to residents
- Provides a customer service attitude to residents and guests at all times
- Serves as back-up for the Concierge as necessary
- Drive van, bus, or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs
- Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment
- Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van
- Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance
- Clean and wash vehicle
- May perform housekeeping functions as directed
- Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy
