The Valet Attendant/Driver role at Windsor at Celebration offers a unique opportunity to be an integral part of this thriving community. This full-time position, paying $15-16 per hour, functions at the exciting intersection of hospitality and transportation, directly supporting the community’s mission to deliver outstanding service and a superior resident experience. A Valet Attendant/Driver at Windsor is entrusted with the important responsibility of safely transporting residents to various destinations such as grocery stores, monthly outings, and extended trips, ensuring that these excursions are comfortable, timely, and enjoyable. Beyond driving, the role includes assisting with some housekeeping duties, which contributes to maintaining the welcoming and immaculate environment that residents and guests experience.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required
  • Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved exemption
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to assist seniors with mobility challenges
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work full-time
  • Comfortable driving various vehicles including vans and buses

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required

Job Duties

  • Assists residents and guests arriving and departing the community
  • Parks and retrieves resident and visitor vehicles upon request
  • Delivers packages, flowers, prescriptions, etc., to residents
  • Provides a customer service attitude to residents and guests at all times
  • Serves as back-up for the Concierge as necessary
  • Drive van, bus, or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs
  • Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment
  • Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van
  • Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance
  • Clean and wash vehicle
  • May perform housekeeping functions as directed
  • Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy
