Job Description
Windsor at Celebration is a distinguished senior living community dedicated to providing an exceptional quality of life for its residents. Located in a welcoming and vibrant area, Windsor at Celebration prides itself on fostering a culture of hospitality and care that truly makes a difference in the lives of senior citizens. The community embraces the opportunity to learn from and engage with some of the most seasoned and wise individuals, creating a unique environment where employees not only perform a job but become part of an extraordinary life journey. As part of Leisure Care Services (LCS), Windsor at Celebration benefits from the broader commitment of LCS to hospitality excellence, which is clearly reflected in their Hospitality Promises that guide every interaction with residents, guests, and fellow employees. These promises include warm greetings, courteous respect, proactive anticipation of needs, enthusiastic timely responses, and professional conduct and appearance, all aimed at creating a supportive and enriching atmosphere for everyone involved.
This commitment to hospitality excellence extends to every role within the community, including the valued position of Valet Attendant/Driver. The company is seeking a dedicated and compassionate candidate to join their team full-time in this role, offering an hourly wage of $15 to $16. The Valet Attendant/Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, convenience, and safety of residents by providing transportation services to grocery shopping, monthly outings, and extended trips as arranged. This role not only involves driving but also supporting the community through additional housekeeping duties and assisting with various logistical needs related to resident outings and daily activities. The employee will be involved in a variety of responsibilities such as assisting residents and guests with arrivals and departures, parking and retrieving vehicles, delivering packages and prescriptions, providing excellent customer service, supporting concierge services, and maintaining the community's fleet through scheduling maintenance and cleaning.
Moreover, the Valet Attendant/Driver collaborates closely with the Director of Life Enrichment and the Life Enrichment Coordinator to assist residents in safely boarding and disembarking vehicles, tracking attendance for outings, and coordinating the use of mobility aids like walkers, wheelchairs, and canes. This integrated approach ensures that residents continue to enjoy an active, engaged lifestyle while receiving the support and care needed. Beyond the immediate job duties, employees in this role contribute to the community’s broader goals, including driving top-line revenue and maintaining high occupancy levels through excellent service and engagement. Windsor at Celebration values team members who embody the company’s hospitality culture and who are enthusiastic about contributing to senior care with compassion and professionalism. Potential candidates should also be aware that employment conditions include compliance with vaccination requirements, such as proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption, alongside possible inquiries into other vaccine statuses to safeguard the health of the community.
By joining Windsor at Celebration, employees become part of a company that prioritizes investing in its people, promoting a work environment where personal growth and meaningful interactions with residents are both highly valued. This is an exceptional opportunity for those who are passionate about senior care, enjoy driving and assisting others, and want to become an integral part of an extraordinary senior living community where their efforts have a lasting impact.
